This privacy policy explains how SIA "DK Global Network" (trading as SiteLab) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website sitelab.lv, contact us, or receive our commercial communications. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Latvian law.

2. What data we collect
- Contact data (contact form): the name, email address and message you voluntarily provide.
- Website usage data (consent only): IP address, visitor and session identifiers, pages visited, device type, browser language, referrer and campaign (UTM) parameters.
- Session recordings (consent only): anonymised recordings of your browsing session — mouse movements, clicks and page interactions — used to improve usability.
- Outreach data: business email address and engagement with our emails (opens, clicks) — see the marketing section.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to enquiries (contact form) — basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Website statistics and session recordings — basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.

- Website security and operation — basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website.
4. Statistics and session recording
On the website we use a first-party statistics tool (page views, session duration, device, referrer) and a session-replay tool (rrweb) that lets us see anonymised how visitors interact with the page. Both are optional and are loaded only after you give consent in the cookie banner. If you reject cookies, these tools are not loaded and the related cookies are not set.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking the "Cookies" link in the footer.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use the following cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. Statistics cookies are set only with your consent.
6. Marketing emails (B2B outreach)
SiteLab conducts business-to-business (B2B) direct marketing by email. For this we collect publicly available business contact data (company name, business email, address, industry, owner LinkedIn profile) from public sources — the Latvian Enterprise Register open data (data.gov.lv), firmas.lv, the public WHOIS database, and the Common Crawl web index.
Our emails contain a tracking pixel and redirect links that record opens and clicks using a daily-hashed IP address and browser information. We use this data only to measure the effectiveness of our communications.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to object at any time — use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us, and we will stop sending immediately and add your address to our suppression list.
7. Recipients and processors
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed on our behalf by carefully selected service providers (processors):
- Microsoft Azure — website hosting and data storage (EU data centres).
- Azure Communication Services — email delivery.
- OpenAI — on-demand page translation (for additional languages).
We may disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
8. Payment processing
Payments are processed by the payment platform https://makecommerce.lv/, therefore our company transfers the personal data required to execute the payment to the platform owner, Maksekeskus AS.
Maksekeskus AS (reg. No. 12268475, Niine 11, Tallinn, Estonia) is a payment institution licensed by Eesti Pank. It receives only the data required to carry out the payment: the payment amount and currency, the invoice number, the payer's name or company name, email address and the IP address used for the payment.
We never receive or store your full payment card number — card details are entered and processed solely within the payment provider's secure environment. We receive only the payment outcome (succeeded / failed) and the transaction reference.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligation in accounting and tax matters (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Payment and accounting records are retained for 5 years as required by the Latvian Accounting Law.

- Statistics data — for a limited period for aggregate analysis.
- Session recordings — up to 30 days.

After the retention period, data is deleted or anonymised.

- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data ("right to be forgotten");
